The tool you're actually competing with.

Most Indonesian organizers do not run on event software. They run on a shared spreadsheet for the tenant list and a Canva file for the floor plan. That combination works, right up to the point where the two files disagree with each other.

When it's the right choice

For a first market under about 20 tables, a spreadsheet is genuinely the right tool. It is free, everyone can already use it, and there is no migration. This page is about what changes when the event gets bigger than one person's memory.

Side by side

  • Where the floor plan lives

    A spreadsheet + Canva

A Canva or Figma file, exported to image or PDF when it needs sharing. The exported copy stops matching the source the moment anyone edits either one.[1]

    Gelar

One plan in the app. The public page, the tablet on the floor and the back-office laptop read the same record, updating live.

  • Booth status

    A spreadsheet + Canva

Typed by hand into a cell, and again onto the plan. Two places to remember, so they drift.[1]

    Gelar

Derived from the assignment plus the lead's stage — status is computed, never typed, so the plan and the pipeline cannot disagree.

  • Two people editing at once

    A spreadsheet + Canva

Cloud spreadsheets merge edits well; a Canva plan does not. Whoever exports last publishes their version of the truth.[2]

    Gelar

Multi-user by design, with row-level access scoped per organization.

  • Payment reconciliation

    A spreadsheet + Canva

Manual. Someone reads bank notifications or transfer receipts and updates a column, usually after the event.[2]

    Gelar

Escrow settlements and verified transfer receipts feed the finance view directly; only settled money counts as collected.

  • What it costs

    A spreadsheet + Canva

Rp 0 in licence fees. The cost is the hours spent reconciling and the bookings lost to a stale plan — real, but not on an invoice.[3]

    Gelar

Free up to 50 plotted tables, then a fixed per-event fee. Never a percentage of your sales.
